1. Eligibility: The annual gift card draw from the survey (“Draw”) is open to individuals who have completed the designated survey within 2023.
2. Survey Completion: To enter the Draw, participants must fully complete the survey, providing accurate and complete information as requested.
3. Entry Limit: Participants are limited to one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will result in disqualification of additional entries.
4. Draw Period: The Draw period is defined as 12:00 am of January 1, 2023 to 11:59 pm of December 31, 2023.
5. Random Selection: The winners of the gift card draw will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Draw period.
6. Prize Allocation: The number of gift card prizes, their values, and any specific terms will be stated clearly in the Draw announcement.
7. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via the contact information provided during the survey completion process. They may be required to respond within 2 weeks to claim their prize.
8. Prize Distribution: Gift cards will be distributed to the winners at their desired methods (e.g., electronically, physically mailed) and within 4 weeks following winner verification.
9. Prize Substitution: Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted for cash or other alternatives.
10. Public Announcement: The winners’ names or usernames may be publicly announced for transparency and promotional purposes, unless the winners request otherwise.
11. Compliance with Laws: Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. Any violation may result in disqualification.
12. Personal Information: Participants’ personal information collected during the survey and Draw will be used solely for the purposes of the Draw and will be handled in accordance with relevant privacy laws.
13. Disqualification: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who fails to comply with the terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or unethical behavior.
14. Amendments and Termination: The organizers reserve the right to modify or terminate the Draw at any time and for any reason, with appropriate notice given to participants.
15. Release of Liability: By participating in the Draw, participants release the Matthew Ho and his affiliates from any liability arising from or related to the Draw or the use of the prizes.
16. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
17. Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participants and the organizers, superseding any prior agreements or understandings, written or verbal, relating to the Draw.
18. By participating in the annual gift card draw from the survey, participants acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
